Getting started
Choose your way to investigate.
The homepage offers free solo play. For a shared room, one host buys a $9.99 USD room pass plus applicable tax. No sign-up is required before buying; Stripe shows the final total before payment and the host account is created from the checkout email.
Open a shared room
The host uses a pass to create a room. An unused pass never expires, but creating the room starts its 24-hour access window immediately.
Invite up to four guests
Share the room code. Guests join free without an account, email, or purchase. There are five detectives total, including the host.
Follow the evidence
Inspect clues in the 3D room or Evidence view. Complete three objectives in order; each one unlocks the next in a fifteen-minute round.
Rounds and room access
Fifteen minutes is a round, not a pass expiry.
A paid room stays available for 24 hours from creation, including the lobby. You can play unlimited fifteen-minute rounds within that window. When the window closes, a new pass is required to open another room. Plan when you create the room, not just when you start investigating. Visit pricing for the access terms or team building for groups larger than five.
Returning detectives
Know how to recover your seat.
Returning buyers can request an emailed sign-in link at account recovery. A host can recover an active seat through their account on another device. A guest can recover a seat only in the same browser tab. The FAQ explains common account and room questions, and the playing guide introduces the objectives without revealing their solutions.
